Assistant Coach Nick Eversole

Nick Eversole, a former All-Conference player at the collegiate level, joined the Bellarmine University baseball coaching staff as an assistant in September of 2015.

Eversole’s duties with the Knights include working with catchers and outfielders, assisting with recruiting and hitting, and overseeing strength training.

In 2016, Eversole's first season with the Knights, Bellarmine earned its second-straight trip to the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament. The Knights finished 15-11 in league play and captured third place in the GLVC East. In the conference tourney, BU defeated No. 18 Quincy in the opening round. Hunter Spencer was named GLVC Pitcher of the Year one season after throwing 9.0 total innings.

Eversole came to Bellarmine after a two-year stint coaching at his alma mater, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where his role was similar to the one he has at Bellarmine. He was also the head coach of the Black Diamonds of the Mountain West Collegiate League in the summer of 2015.

Eversole was a three-year starter at catcher and first base for Bloomsburg from 2010-13. He was named All-Pennsylvania State Athletics Conference in 2011 and team MVP along with team captain in 2013. Eversole amassed 100 hits and, as a catcher, threw out 25 percent of potential base stealers.

Eversole received his bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg. He is a native of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Indian Valley High School.
